What is HyFlex Skills?
The HyFlex Skills training model incorporates a two-phase pathway from non-accredited training via a series of engaging and interactive online Learning Bytes, to completion of Skills Generation accredited Certificate II qualifications, where Supplementary Assessment is undertaken to achieve certification. Non-accredited Learning Bytes are created with interactive user-friendly design at their core to appeal to students, stimulate their engagement, and encourage their active participation. Each Learning Byte is carefully mapped to aligned accredited units of competency. Learning Byte content concentrates on teaching and assessing the key concepts for each aligned unit. Students who choose to enrol in Skills Generation Certificate II qualification/s delivered via the HyFlex Skills model can complete the required Learning Bytes and Supplementary performance assessments to gain Certificate II VET qualifications that may attract up to 8 QCE credits.
